5 years agoThe New York Mets released 39 minor leaguers on Thursday, including pitchers Rob Whalen and Andrew Church. None of the moves have been made official yet by the team. Whalen was last in the big leagues with the Mariners in 2018. Church was a second-round draft pick of the Mets in 2013, who, due to injuries, never appeared in the majors for the Mets.
