Rob Refsnyder Scratched From Lineup Tuesday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Rob Refsnyder (quad) has been scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Orioles, according to Phil Miller of the Star Tribune. Refsnyder crashed into the outfield wall while tracking a fly ball that went for a home run, and while he had originally felt well enough to be penciled into the lineup on Tuesday night, Miller reports that his sore quad worsened prior to the game, leading to the team's decision to pull him and allow him to recover. Willians Astudillo will now get the start in left field, as Kyle Garlick will slide over to center to replace Refsnyder. For now, managers should consider Refsnyder day-to-day.
