Rob Gronkowski Catches Two Touchdowns In Super Bowl Win
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski caught six of a team-high seven targets in a 31-9 win over the Chiefs. Gronkowski was quiet as a pass-catcher for the playoffs before this but rose to the occasion, hauling in two red-zone scores from Tom Brady. The 31-year-old caught 45 passes for 623 yards and seven touchdowns, finishing as a top-10 tight end even after taking an entire year off. Gronkowski wants to be back in Tampa next year- it's safe to assume Brady wants him back- and will probably be on the low-end TE1 radar, even with a healthy O.J. Howard presumably returning to the lineup.
