4 months agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Roansy Contreras was a possible option to start Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners. Instead, the Halos went with Carson Fulmer and that ended up being a great decision. Contreras has been a shaky option throughout most of the season but he looked solid on Sunday. The right-hander worked a scoreless ninth inning to earn his second career save. The Angels didn't have many options with most of their high leverage relievers unavailable for this contest. Contreras got the rare save chance and will probably return to his role as a middle reliever now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
