2 years agoNew York Knicks small forward RJ Barrett (finger) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Rockets due to a laceration on his right index finger. Barrett's absence will mark his second in a row, paving the way for Miles McBride and Quentin Grimes to see significant minutes on the wing. Prior to injuring his finger, Barrett was averaging 23.2 PPG across 12 December contests, including shooting 42.4 percent from long range. Julius Randle should see another massive workload against a young Rockets frontcourt, with Barrett's next chance to return coming Monday against Phoenix.--Jesse Borek
