Rishard Matthews Back On The Practice Field
6 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews (knee) was back on the practice field Monday, finally returning after a torn meniscus. "I am glad to be healthy now and get back on the field," Matthews said. "I am very excited. It sucks being out there just watching. This is the longest I've been out from football. So it was tough." Matthews has led the Titans with 1,740 receiving yards and 13 touchdown catches over the past two seasons, while checking in second behind TE Delanie Walker with 118 catches. In addition, Matthews has posted 14.7 yards per catch to rank ninth among all NFL players with at least 100 receptions during the span. Matthews is being drafted as a WR5.
