Boston Bruins forward Riley Nash recorded two assists on Tuesday night, as the Bruins beat the Detroit Red Wings 6-5 in overtime. The 28-year-old may not have generated a lot of points earlier in the season, scoring 34 points in 62 games, but he has filled in nicely for the injured Patrice Bergeron on Boston’s first line. Since taking the role of top-line center and joining David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand, Nash has posted six points in the four games played. Bergeron is expected to be out at least two weeks, so look for Nash to continue seeing plenty of playing time and potentially generating a lot of value as the last month of the regular season begins.--Alex McKenzie
