Riley Greene Has Three Hits At Double-A
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfield prospect Riley Greene went 3-for-4 on Friday to raise his batting average to .271. The 20-year-old has had a bit of an up-and-down season in 2021 but he's also playing at Double-A after skipping over High-A ball entirely. During his debut season in 2019, after being selected fifth overall out of high school, Greene spent time in Rookie ball, Short-Season ball, and in Low-A ball. An advanced hitter for this age, he's produced an excellent .374 on-base percentage this year with seven home runs and seven steals in 38 games. Greene is ranked by Rotoballer as the sixth-best prospect for dynasty baseball leagues and should arrive in the majors in 2022.
