Riley Greene Falls Double Short of Cycle Wednesday
10 months agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Riley Greene had a terrific Wednesday night, falling just a double short of the cycle and going 3-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 9-2 victory against the Minnesota Twins. At the halfway point, Greene already has a career-high 16 home runs and 43 RBI to go along with his modest .260 batting average. If the young lefty surpasses the 30-home run mark, he will easily be a bargain at the 146 ADP he was drafted at to start the season. Should he continue to excel in the cleanup spot the rest of the season, he could be a top-50 fantasy player going into 2025.
