Ridly Greig, Mark Kastelic Each Out At Least Two More Weeks
1 year agoOttawa Senators forwards Ridly Greig (lower body) and Mark Kastelic (ankle) will each miss at least two more weeks of action for the club. Greig left last Thursday's contest against the Los Angeles Kings early after suffering a lower-body injury when he crashed into the boards midway through the first period, while Kastelic also left the same contest in the second period after suffering a high-ankle sprain. Greig, a 21-year-old rookie, has notched two goals and seven points through nine games this season, while Kastelic, 24, is without a point with eight shots and 21 penalty minutes across nine games on the campaign. The Senators could get defenseman Artem Zub (concussion) back for Wednesday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs, but head coach D.J. Smith said, "I haven't got the 100 percent yet from anybody" on the blue-liner's status for the contest.
