Ricky Tiedemann Seeking Second Opinion
4 months agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann (forearm) is seeking a second opinion on his injury in the coming days, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. The top prospect in Toronto left his rehab start on July 10 due to forearm tightness and went for preliminary testing, which did not show any structural damage. However, despite the potentially positive news, the southpaw is seeking a second opinion to see the extent of his injury. The former third-round pick has been sidelined for most of the 2024 season due to a nerve issue in his left elbow. Tiedemann could still contend for a major league debut if he overcomes this injury but should remain stashed in all dynasty and keeper formats as he is considered one of the top pitching prospects in all baseball.
