Ricky Tiedemann Flashes Dominance In Rehab Outings
Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann (biceps, shoulder) has been dominant in his brief return from a shoulder/biceps injury. In three rehab starts, the left-hander has pitched eight innings and has given up just one hit and one walk. He has yet to give up a run while striking out 18 batters. Tiedemann burst onto the scene in 2022 with a 2.17 ERA and 117 strikeouts over 78 1/3 innings and flashed electric stuff in Spring Training this year. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring the injuries, as he likely won't get the call to the big leagues in 2023. However, Tiedemann is among the best pitching prospects in baseball and is an elite asset in redraft and dynasty formats.
