Ricky Tiedemann Encouraged With His Progress
23 seconds agoToronto Blue Jays left-handed pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann (elbow) is doing well in his rehab from Tommy John surgery and has been very encouraged with how his elbow and arm are feeling compared to pre-surgery. Tiedemann is targeting games by the end of the 2025 season. The 22-year-old has unique physical gifts and remains one of the better young pitching prospects in the game, but injuries have thrown him off track early in his career. It will be considered a success if he gets back to pitching in games by the end of this year, but the Blue Jays aren't going to rush him along in the process. If he's fully healthy next spring, Tiedemann will be one of the biggest storylines in Blue Jays camp. He can be ignored for obvious reasons in redraft leagues in 2025, but Tiedemann remains a hold candidate in dynasty/keeper leagues.
