3 months agoWhenever the NASCAR Cup Series stops at Daytona and Talladega, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gets some attention. These are the tracks where Stenhouse has been a contender in the past, and he's able to really show that when he doesn't end up in a wreck. In this year's first race at Talladega, he walked away with a fourth-place finish and was crowned the 2023 Daytona 500 Champion as well. With that being said, Stenhouse does have a tendency to disappoint at superspeedways. In seven of the last 10 races on this track type, he has finished outside of the top 20 entirely. Still, he qualified 35th for this weekend's Coke Zero Sugar 400, and that large potential for place differential is going to make Stenhouse one of the more popular picks on the slate. The upside is definitely there, but with his propensity to disappoint, a strategy play in large-field DFS tournaments may be to go underweight on him.--Jordan McAbee
