Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Punchless At Gateway
6 months agoRicky Stenhouse Jr. has not had a good run the two times he raced at the Enjoy Illinois 300. Despite a decent starting position of 19.5, the JTG Daugherty Racing driver ended up 32nd both times. It is tough to expect much out of the No. 47 Chevy on Sunday even despite decent practice numbers in the 33.3-33.5 second range (12th overall). Stenhouse Jr. has had issues on and off the track (see Kyle Busch). His average finish of 23.6 this season is as bad as his 2015 numbers. His Chevy has shown little or no late-run speed and the same is likely to continue on Sunday afternoon.
