1 year agoRicky Stenhouse Jr. turned in a solid qualifying lap on Saturday. The JTG Daugherty Racing driver begins the Enjoy Illinois 300 from the 12th position on Sunday afternoon. Stenhouse Jr. never did get going last year and finished 32nd. All sorts of issues hit his No. 47 Chevy and this year may be more of the same. He did not lose much speed in his intervals from practice but that 33.614 seconds was just okay. With the top drivers starting in the 33.2 to 33.3 range, that could prove ominous on longer runs. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
