Ricky Stenhouse Jr. A High-Risk, High-Reward Pick For Talladega
4 years agoJTG Daugherty Racing's Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start from the 20th position in Sunday's Geico 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Stenhouse and the No. 47 team will be one to watch after winning the pole for the season-opening Daytona 500. Stenhouse has the speed and the past results to pull off an underdog win on Sunday. Driving for Roush-Fenway Racing in 2017, Stenhouse collected his only career Cup Series wins at Talladega and Daytona. The 2.66-mile superspeedway has been kind to Stenhouse. In 13 starts, Stenhouse has eight top-10 finishes. Stenhouse offers a massive upside in DFS lineups, but it comes at a risk. Stenhouse is known for being an aggressive driver, and that style has led to some trouble in the past. DFS players that can stomach his gung-ho style should throw him into lineups.
