Ricky Pearsall Shut Out Again In Week 12 Loss
17 seconds agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was a non-factor during a 38-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Despite a healthy snap count, Pearsall was not targeted. His only touches came as a punt returner, where he was filling in for fellow rookie Jacob Cowing (concussion). In the third quarter, Pearsall limped off the field after getting rolled up on but was back on the field for the next series. A few weeks ago Pearsall appeared to be building some momentum, demonstrating escalating involvement which peaked with a 15.3 half-PPR performance in Week 10 at Tampa Bay. But in the two games since then, he has zero combined receptions and just two targets. Pearsall has a bright future but as long as Jauan Jennings is healthy, Pearsall figures to be untrustable for fantasy managers fighting for a 2024 playoff berth. His next chance to get involved will be a Week 13 matchup versus the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football.
