Rickie Fowler has played in ten Open Championships, and he has only missed one cut. The Oklahoma State product has finished runner-up at Royal Liverpool in 2014, sixth at Royal Portrush in 2019, and fifth at Royal St. George's in 2011! After a disappointing start to the 2021 season, Fowler is finally starting to get his game back on track. He recorded back-to-back top-15s at the PGA Championship and the Memorial, and he is coming off a 32nd-place finish at the Rocket Mortgage where he gained 3.1 strokes on approach. Fowler's short game remains top-notch, as over the last 36 rounds, the five-time PGA Tour winner ranks eighth in strokes gained around the green. Now that the ball-striking is coming around as well, Fowler is a very playable option this week. --Andy Lack
