Rich Hill Won't Start This Weekend
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said starting pitcher Rich Hill will not start against the Angels on Saturday. Instead, Alex Wood will take his spot this weekend, with Hill available to pitch out of the bullpen. Clayton Kershaw will be moved to Sunday. In his last four starts, Hill has allowed 11 earned runs on 23 hits (four homers) for a 4.18 ERA in 23 2/3 innings. He's not a lock to join the rotation in the second half either, with Hyun-Jin Ryu set to return at some point.
