Rich Hill Takes Loss Tuesday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill fell to 2-4 after Tuesday's 1-4 loss to the Padres. Hill allowed four runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and a walk with seven strikeouts in seven innings. The 38-year-old has had an up-and-down season, and while his 9.61 K/9 rate is encouraging for fantasy owners, the 4.64 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 47.8% hard-hit rate are certainly not. The combination of age and injuries may finally be getting to Hill and owners should monitor him closely matchup by matchup. He will next face the Angels on Sunday.
