Rich Hill Goes To DL, Dodgers Recall Adam Liberatore
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Rich Hill (finger) is going on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to April 15) because of inflammation in his finger and reliever Adam Liberatore has been recalled from Triple-A. Hill's most recent outing was a disaster (seven earned runs in five innings) and he may have been affected by his finger injury then. Injuries are always a concern with Hill, who missed parts of the last two seasons with blisters on his finger. When he's on, he's among the league's best strike throwers. Unfortunately, durability remains his biggest question and his latest DL stint proves it. At 38, he's a hot potato ballplayer and owners have to reckon with how they'll feel if they're the last one holding him.
