Rich Hill Feels Pop In His Knee Friday
2 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Rich Hill (knee) stated that he felt a pop in his knee during his start against the Chicago Cubs on Friday. According to Red Sox manager Alex Cora, the team is currently waiting to find out how serious the issue is. In his post-game presser, Hill said that he put the team in a "tough position" while trying to pitch through the ailment. Hill's final line for the day was 4 2/3 innings, three hits, four walks, three earned runs and three strikeouts. The team wound up losing 6-5. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start next Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays, but we should know more about his situation and his prospects of making that start soon.
