4 years agoRicardo Lamas earned his 20th professional win by defeating newcomer Bill Algeo by unanimous decision. Lamas landed 127 total strikes, with 104 of those being labeled significant strikes. His takedown game was also working well, landing five of his 11 attempts. Lamas' control on the mat is really what helped him pull off the very close unanimous decision. With wins in two of his last three bouts, are we on the verge of seeing another run by the 38-year-old Illinois native? The most important thing for the aging veteran is watching his matchups.
