Rhys Hoskins’ Spot In Lineup Set
7 years agoSo far in 10 games this Spring Training, Phillies phenom Rhys Hoskins has hit .250 with two home runs and 14 RBI. He’s recorded six hits in total, with a pair of doubles and seven strikeouts as well. New Phillies manager Gabe Kapler has been experimenting with the club’s starting lineup, having the pitcher bat eighth on a handful of occasions. The top of the lineup, however, appears to be set in stone, with Hoskins locked in at the cleanup spot. The 24-year-old stormed onto the scene last year, smashing 18 home runs in 50 games. With added firepower to the offense, he should be set for another very productive season.
