Rhys Hoskins Likely Won't Play This Year
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins (knee) ran the bases and took batting practice on Tuesday, according to MLB.com, as he continues to rehab from the knee surgery he had to repair a torn ACL he suffered in spring training. However, the 30-year-old is still a long shot to play in the playoffs. The club will miss his bat in October, as Hoskins is a perennial power threat and slashed .246/.332/.462 with 30 bombs in 2022. The former fifth-rounder is a free agent after the season and may not appear in a Phillies uniform again.
