3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Rhys Hoskins (groin) has a chance to be activated from the injured list on Saturday, according to Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Breen reports that Hoskins took batting practice on Friday and fielded ground balls, but was not ready to be activated before Friday's game. Hoskins has been sidelined since August 7 with a groin strain, and prior to the injury he was slashing .244/.332/.509 with 24 homers, three steals, 68 RBI and 61 runs scored over 104 games. Managers should continue to keep an eye out for updates, but it seems like he could be back in action sometime this weekend.--Michael
