Rhamondre Stevenson Remains A Mid-Range RB2 Against Buffalo
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson led the team in rushing yards in last Sunday's victory over the Dolphins, but backfield teammate Damien Harris outpaced him by one carry (9-8). Harris returned to action in Week 17 after missing five games due to a thigh injury. Stevenson will continue his timeshare with Harris, capping his fantasy upside. The 24-year-old is New England's top offensive player, rushing for 986 yards and five touchdowns while catching 64 passes for 393 and a score over 16 games in 2022. Stevenson had a tough matchup on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. In his previous game against Buffalo, Stevenson rushed for 54 yards on 10 attempts and caught six passes for 24 yards in the Week 12 loss. New England will rely heavily on the running game against the Bills for the regular season finale, making Stevenson a borderline RB2 against a Buffalo defense that ranks third in rush DVOA.
