RFK Racing's Michigan Prowess May Help Justin Haley's Satellite Team
3 months agoJustin Haley has consistently run mid-pack in his NASCAR Cup Series races at Michigan in the past. Although he did finish all three of his Cup Series starts, his average finish of 21.7 has been quite mediocre. However, he and new crew chief, Chris Lawson, have been generally outperforming their results in recent years and Rick Ware Racing is currently an RFK Racing satellite. Michigan is a track where the Roush and Roush-affiliated teams have historically put a great deal of emphasis and the Fords have generally been faster here since they have won the last nine races. Given Haley's recent run of seven top 20s in the past twelve races and his 18th-place rank in practice, he might be due for another one this weekend, but a top 10 is probably unlikely.
