Reynaldo Lopez Leaves With Back Tightness On Monday
3 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Reynaldo Lopez (back) was removed from Monday's game against the Cleveland Guardians after the 10th inning due to lower back tightness. Lopez pitched the full 10th inning and gave up one unearned run and showed no signs of an injury. He went out to the mound to warm up for the 11th inning and was taken out before the inning started, so the injury must have flared up during warm ups. Lopez has made 10 bullpen appearances so far this year and he's pitched to a 3.86 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. He's already been credited with four wins so far this year to go along with two holds.
