Reynaldo Lopez Earns Second Save Of Season Monday
2 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Reynaldo Lopez picked up his second save of the season in Monday's 4-3 win over the Twins. Lopez entered the game to close things out with a one-run lead and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts. The 29-year-old leads the team in saves in the early going with Liam Hendriks (cancer treatment) recovering from non-Hodgkins' lymphoma. However, he has allowed runs in three of his five outings and has a 7.71 ERA with a 7.71 BB/9 rate and a 15.43 K/9 rate. The inconsistency is something that may frustrate fantasy managers if they stick with him.
