Renato Moicano scored a second-round doctor stoppage win over Benoit Saint-Denis in the main event of UFC Paris on Saturday. Moicano entered the bout as the underdog but the Brazilian dominated the opening round. He took Saint-Denis down right away and controlled him for 4:37 of the five-minute round. The Brazilian landed heavy ground-and-pound that busted up Saint-Denis' face. His eye was nearly shut due to all the damage. In the second round, Moicano was outstruck and couldn't get Saint-Denis down, but the swelling of the eye got worse and the doctor stopped the fight. With the win, Moicano is now 20-5-1 as a pro and 12-5 in the UFC. Moicano should get a top-five opponent next time out.

Renato Moicano improved to 18-5-1 on Saturday with a hard-fought decision win over Drew Dober in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 85. Moicano was fighting for the first time in over a year, as he missed all of 2023 due to injuries. Against Dober, the Brazilian went to his wrestling and took the American down three times and had over 10 minutes of control time. Moicano avoided the power shots of Dober and cruised to a decision win. With the victory, Moicano should get someone ranked in the top 10 in his next time out.
