Reggie Jackson Scores Season-High 29 Points With Seven Treys
3 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson went berserk with a 7-for-9 effort from downtown on Wednesday and ended up picking up a season-high 29 points in a 126-115 win over the Timberwolves. He shot 11-for-18 overall from the field and added five rebounds to his line with eight assists, one steal and three turnovers in 36 minutes. With Paul George having a very high usage rate, you can't expect Jackson to drop 20-plus points every game, but he has been putting in solid work throughout the season, despite being a very streaky shooter. The 31-year-old has averaged 16 points for the year but has shot below 36 percent from the field. In theory, Jackson's scoring numbers should get a nice boost with better efficiency. He'll roll out against the Timberwolves again on Friday. This is actually an awful matchup for points guards, as Minnesota has limited them to 37 percent shooting across the season with only 6.3 assists per 48 minutes.
