6 years agoThe Washington Redskins are hoping to sign free-agent quarterback Josh Johnson despite working out Landry Jones and Ryan Mallett on Tuesday, according to a source. Both Alex Smith and Colt McCoy are out for the year with broken legs, forcing Mark Sanchez into a starting role for the final four weeks. It's about as bad of a quarterback situation as you can get in the NFL. All of Washington's skill players, including the ageless Adrian Peterson, need to be downgraded to close out the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
