Redskins Defense Humbled In Loss To Falcons
6 years agoThe Washington Redskins defense has been effective for most of the season, but they took it in the chops in Sunday's 38-14 waxing at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons. Washington allowed Matt Ryan to throw for 350 yards and four touchdowns. Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley and Tevin Coleman all had big days as well. Over an eight-game sample size, we've only seen the Redskins get their doors blown off twice, so it's likely that this was just a bump in the road. That said, we should file this away for future reference, as it's possible that the Redskins are susceptible to high-flying passing attacks like Atlanta's.
