Redskins Defense A Sneaky Week 11 Option
5 years agoThe Washington Redskins Defense could have some success at home against a Jets team that offers up some of the ingredients you target in streaming defenses. First and foremost, the Jets offense commits turnovers at the ninth-highest rate in the NFL, and Washington's fifth-best interception rate on opposing pass attempts sure contains promise with Sam Darnold on the other side. The Jets also can't run the ball effectively. No team is averaging fewer yards before first contact per rushing attempt than the Jets' 1.5. Finally, only the Titans offensive line does a worse job protecting its quarterback than New York (12.1% sack rate on drop-backs).
