2 years agoAfter signing right-hander Hunter Greene to a long-term extension, the Cincinnati Reds are turning their attention toward locking up lefty Nick Lodolo, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. The 25-year-old is in his second season at the big league level and is eligible for free agency after the 2027 season. If the Reds are successful, Lodolo looks like he'll be an anchor in their rotation for years to come. He's posted a 4.98 ERA thus far over four starts but owns a 29.8% strikeout rate, 6.7% walk rate, and a career 3.96 FIP. Lodolo is a must-start arm in almost every league with his electric stuff and ace potential.--Spencer Seguin
