6 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds have some interest in free-agent starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez came out of nowhere to post a 2.83 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 135 strikeouts in 136 2/3 innings (24 starts) for Atlanta in 2018. The veteran right-handed had been awful the previous three seasons with the Tigers and wasn't really on anyone's radar to begin the season. He'll turn 35 in February, though, and it'll be very tough for him to match his 2018 campaign, especially if he goes to a hitter-friendly environment like Cincinnati.
