Reds Hopeful Luis Castillo Will Debut In April
3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Luis Castillo (shoulder) will be traveling with the team to kick off the year, according to Reds manager David Bell. Two fellow injured Reds, starting pitcher Mike Minor (shoulder) and second baseman Donovan Solano (hamstring), will be with the team as well. The hope is that all three players will be able to debut with the team at some point in April, after having gone through some rehab games. Castillo has been dealing with shoulder soreness this spring, which has prevented him from being on a normal pitching schedule. Castillo is a bit of a risky pick at his current ADP, which is right around No. 100 overall. His upside is clear, but after last year's struggles and with his delayed start to the 2022 season, you might be better off going with another option in your draft.
