6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) has yet to begin baseball activities. Infielder Brock Holt (eye) will hit batting practice on Tuesday and he's getting closer to resuming his rehab assignment after a setback with his scratched cornea. Eduardo Nunez (back) is feeling better and was able to hit on Sunday. All three are currently on the injured list, leaving the Red Sox with Tzu-Wei Lin and rookie Michael Chavis to fill in at the keystone. Pedroia dodged a bullet with his knee injury, but given the fact that he missed all year with his knee issues, he's unlikely to be rushed back. Expect all three to split time at second when they are all back healthy, severely limiting their fantasy potential in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
