Red Sox Looking Into Blake Parker, Justin Anderson
6 years agoThe Boston Red Sox already acquired starter Nathan Eovaldi from the Tampa Bay Rays, and it seems like they've turned their attention to the Los Angeles Angels. Specifically, the Angels bullpen. It was previously reported that teams were looking into Angels closer Blake Parker, and it seems the Red Sox are one of them. Parker is having a strong season for the Angels, and it was reported that the Red Sox are looking into fellow relief pitcher Justin Anderson. Anderson has pitched to a 2-2 record and a 3.19 ERA. He does have 46 strikeouts against 23 walks. As always, any time relievers get moved to a contender, their values increase in deep, multiple-reliever leagues, but — if traded — neither Parker nor Anderson would get close to supplanting Craig Kimbrel.
