3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays placed relief pitcher JT Chargois (oblique) on the injured list on Tuesday due to left oblique tightness. Acquired as part of the Diego Castillo trade last July, Chargois pitched to a 2.52 ERA and a 3.86 ERA in 53.2 combined innings between the Rays and Seattle Mariners last season, turning in 53 strikeouts and 15 holds in the process while walking 20 batters. So far in 2022, he'd made one appearance, recording two outs, one of which was a strikeout. Starting pitcher Luis Patino was also placed on the injured list on Tuesday. Right-handers Tommy Romero and Ralph Garza Jr. were recalled from the minors.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
