Ravens Sticking With Joe Flacco
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the team will stick with quarterback Joe Flacco under center when asked if he would consider starting rookie Lamar Jackson coming out of their Week 10 bye. "Joe’s played well, so I don’t want to get into all of that. We’re rolling right now with what we got. Of course, at some point in time, this guy [Jackson] is a quarterback," Harbaugh said. The Ravens have lost three straight and four of their last five heading into the bye, and Flacco has been very mediocre in the last month after a hot start to the season. If the veteran doesn't improve and the Ravens keep losing in Week 11, they could turn to Jackson. The rookie has more upside but would likely be too inconsistent to be a realistic starting option in single-QB leagues.
