Ravens Excited About Hayden Hurst
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said first-round rookie tight end Hayden Hurst is on the rise after he made his NFL debut in Week 5. "He was knocking a little bit of rust off last week, and then, man I was excited, because he practiced really well [Wednesday]," Mornhinweg said. The 25-year-old rookie had only one catch on two targets for seven yards last Sunday. While he clearly has the most pass-catching upside for fantasy owners this year, it might take him another game or two to see enough snaps to make him a worthwhile fantasy starter. Don't forget that Baltimore also has Nick Boyle, Maxx Williams and rookie Mark Andrews, who are also more than capable of producing in a committee approach.
