Rasmus Hojgaard Looking To Get Back On Track At The PLAYERS Championship
6 mins agoSince posting a T12 finish at the Phoenix Open, Rasmus Hojgaard has missed the cut at the Genesis Invitational and finished T34 at the Mexico Open. He now shifts his focus to The PLAYERS Championship, an event he has yet to compete in. At TPC Sawgrass, players will need to be solid from tee to green, but especially accurate off the tee and on approach. Hojgaard ranks 117th in driving accuracy but is 58th in strokes gained off the tee, gaining 0.241 strokes per round. However, his struggles on approach have been evident, as he ranks 132nd, losing 0.198 strokes per round. Despite this, Hojgaard still ranks in the 76th percentile in proximity from 100-150 yards, a critical range given that 32.3% of all approach shots at Sawgrass last year came from this distance. Given his recent form and lack of experience at the course, fantasy managers may want to carefully consider their options before including Hojgaard in their lineups.
