Rasmus Andersson Day-To-Day After Getting Hit By Car
2 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day after he was hit by a car while driving a scooter in Detroit. He was on his way to dinner Wednesday when the incident occurred. Andersson was taken to the hospital for tests and was released later in the evening. He has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the Red Wings, but Andersson luckily escaped serious injury and shouldn't be out for long. The 26-year-old is having a very productive season with 34 points, 111 shots on net, 40 hits and 89 blocks registered in 51 appearances. Christopher Tanev will be filling in for him on the first defensive pairing on Thursday and Noah Hanifin will move to the first power-play unit.
