Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson feels the team can be competitive again and looks forward to proving doubters wrong in 2023-24. "We have a really good team," Andersson recently said at the NHL European Player Media Tour. "We just have to make a few adjustments, which I think we'll make. I think a lot of people have kind of written us off because of last year, so it will be fun to come in with a chip on our shoulder and prove to everyone how good of a team we really are." Calgary missed the playoffs for the second time in three years last season. However, on a personal level, Andersson had a good campaign with a career-high 11 goals and 49 points in 79 games. He should be around the 50-point mark again in 2023-24 as long as he stays healthy.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
