5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (knee) is undergoing ACL surgery on Friday, according to a source. The surgery is being performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Penny is expected back for the 2020 season, but he might be cutting it close depending on how he bounces back over the summer. His injury came at a really bad time for both Penny's fantasy owners and the Seahawks, as he was just starting to carve out standalone value as a PPR flex alongside Chris Carson. With Penny now out of the picture, Carson's workload is once again safe and he should be a must-start this weekend against the Cardinals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
