Rashaad Penny Held To 15 Yards In Week 2 Loss
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny had a forgettable game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2. The 26-year-old had six carries for 15 yards, finishing with a very low 2.5 yards-per-carry. Today marked the first game sharing the backfield with rookie Kenneth Walker III, who had four carries for 10 yards. It seems like it could be a 60-40 type split going forward, at least while Walker is easing back into action, but the Seahawks were playing from behind the majority of the game and somewhat abandoned the run today. Hopefully, we get some more clarity on this backfield next week will be more telling against the Atlanta Falcons.
