Rare Productive Day In Store For Alex Smith
6 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Alex Smith has just about dropped off the fantasy radar in 2018, but a matchup with the Falcons could do just enough for his value to trick owners into reassessing him going forward. Atlanta has given up at least three passing touchdowns in five of seven games. They're also one of only five teams surrendering an average of more than 300 passing yards per game. Factor in the possibility that Atlanta's offense might present a greater challenge than Washington's last couple opponents (Cowboys, Giants), and Smith could reasonably be expected to throw a bit more than usual. The end result could be an unusually productive day against a terrible fantasy defense.
